Office Documents won’t open from Network Drives

I have found that in the Enterprise environment Office can be difficult with files being loaded from network drives. The issue can produce a range errors but essentially files just do not load in any off applications.

The solution is quite simple though:

Just Remove:- 

– C:\Users\%User Folder%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office

– C:\Users\%User Folder%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\

Or rename:-

– C:\Users\%User Folder%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office1

– C:\Users\%User Folder%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office1\

By changing the names of these folders it forces Office to recreate the app data folders fixing the cause of the issue.
